  • PRF brings together coffee professionals and industry leaders from around the world
  • This year’s event will be held in Medellín, Colombia between June 30 and July 1
  • Registration is now open with three ticket tiers available

EARLY BIRD tickets for the world’s largest producer-focused coffee event are now available to buy online. Each year, Producer & Roaster Forum (PRF) brings together thousands of coffee professionals in one origin country to network, listen to talks, and join roundtable discussions.

After going online last year due to Covid-19, PRF will return for an in-person event between June 30 and July 1 at Plaza Mayor in Medellín, Colombia.

Tickets are divided into three tiers, including an international ticket, a local ticket exclusively for Colombians, and an Origin Trip Experience ticket.

The Origin Trip Experience offers roasters and coffee buyers the opportunity to spend four days on a coffee farm where they can take part in cuppings, learn about harvesting and processing, and build relationships with producers.

What is PRF?

Since launching in 2016, PRF has provided an essential platform for the coffee community, from traders and exporters to roasters and farmers.

The annual two-day event focuses on one origin country, with previous instalments held in El Salvador, Brazil, Guatemala, and Honduras.

This year, PRF celebrates its fifth instalment in Colombia’s tech heartland of Medellín. Surrounded by farms producing some of the world’s highest quality coffees, it forms the perfect backdrop for the event.

At the heart of PRF is a two-day forum. This will include an extensive programme of talks, educational workshops, cuppings, presentations from global industry leaders, and networking opportunities for both producers and roasters.

“PRF provides the opportunity for stakeholders across the industry to witness this transition first-hand,” says PRF’s event director, Julio Guevara. “It also allows the host country to close the gap between commercial and specialty coffee by learning more about global trends in the coffee industry.”

This year, more than 5,000 people from over 50 countries are expected to attend.

What does a ticket include?

Tickets for PRF are divided into three tiers:

– Roasters have the chance to meet farmers, as well as to visit wet and dry mils
